About
The Muse, Brecon is an independently run, community arts and cultural venue. We pride ourselves on community engagement, a diverse program and a creative, grass roots model.
The Grade 2 listed, former Congregationalist Chapel was built in 1837, later it became the town museum. It was renovated in 2010 for its current use and aims to echo some of its historical role as a place of meeting, inspiration and learning as well as to entertain and amuse! Many people have inspired, shaped, supported, set to work on, and helped realise the project that started in 2010, the community around it are integral to its existence, making it what it is today and we hope taking it forward for the future.
