Two marvellous, talented folk-infused acts, with differing but complimentary musical offerings. This will be a very special evening.

While always connected in spirit to the work of the great 20th century folk guitarists and singer-songwriters, with influences such as Nick Drake and Elliott Smith, David Ian Roberts‘ music can always be traced back to the solo guitar and vocal performance.

Toby Hay and Aidan Thorne
In 2021, guitarist Toby Hay and bassist Aidan Thorne (Duski) headed to the studio to make an album of new music, the inspiration being the things they missed most due to the restrictions of the pandemic. They focussed on improvisation and the timbre of acoustic instruments in real spaces.
