Brecon Jazz Club have a really special lineup for this concert. Led by vocalist & violinist Claire Roberts. Claire is joined by three of Wales' top musicians, in a standards-based swinging jazz concert, with compositions from members of the quartet:-

• Liz Exell - drums

  Claire Roberts is originally from Wales and has lived and worked in many places. We'd heard her play violin - her dad was a gypsy jazz violinist and she's played & toured everywhere - but it was at Aberjazz (our weekend off, at the very end of August!) that we heard her sing. Claire's an evocative jazz vocalist - incredible - and we wanted you all to hear her too. Claire describes her repertoire as jazz, swing, bossa, folk and chanson.
