We are excited to present this event as part of Brecon Women's Festival 2023. In two parts, the aim is to bring together women with industry experience with our local community to explore what it takes to be a female DJ.
The first part will be a forum with a fantastic panel who will share their stories, answer questions and shed light on life as a DJ. We welcome anyone who would like to learn more, would like to have more opportunities to play music in the area and who might be keen to learn practical skills and ideas going forward. This is a free event supported by The Muse. There will be a light vegan meal offered after the discussion. Donations welcome.
We reconvene for the evening event from 8pm with some local, upcoming DJs starting things off, followed by our great guest DJs from the panel. Come along for some music on a variety of mediums made, produced and played by women! Expect funk, reggae, soul, world music and more. All welcome! £5
